MISSION CUBSAT

Space science drives innovation and leads to progress and economic development. 
It inspires future generations of scientists and engineers, and it drives global 
information exchange and communication. Space science makes us look outwards from 
our planet, to the stars and beyond.

The Bishop’s school also took an initiative to inspire the growing students in the 
field of space science. On 23rd and 24th February 2019, a programme assisted by 
Sir Suresh Naik from Space education Center,was organised inoder to create insight 
of functions of satellites. 
The programme was inaugurated by Respected Chairman Sir, Principal Mams and 
Suresh Naik Sir.

On 23rd February, the first day of the programme students were given theoretical 
knowledge of the working , principle and construction of the satellite. And the next day, 
24th February, the students were encouraged to construct their own satellite. 
The Bishopites accomplished their task brilliantly with the assistance of fellow 
scientists. At the end of the programme, the satellites prepared by our students 
were launched. This very pride moment turned out to be another milestone for Bishopites.

The proud moment which occupied the space of launching such event for the very first time 
in the Mira bhayander area. It took it’s pride position NIE edition of Times of India 
newspaper. An inspiring and proud event for THE BISHOP’S SCHOOL.

It was all possible due to the platform created and initiated by Honourable management.
